I was privileged to have the opportunity to rebrand the region of Tairawhiti Gisborne. The process began with a robust brand strategy which included workshops, research and interpreting stakeholder’s ideas and briefs.
From my research, I developed the look and feel that directly reflected the creative interpretation of “The First Light”.
I developed designs for Content, Social and a vast array of print executions that would resonate with audiences, whether they were looking to work, live or play in Tairawhiti Gisborne.
Truck & Trailer Parts needed a bold, strong identity to reflect the character of its industry.
Starting from scratch I worked closely with the client to develop the identity and the tone of their company.
I then applied this look and feel across a range of different mediums from fleet signage, mailers and in-store point of sale.
The client was happy with the results as he expands the business across New Zealand.
New Zealand’s largest fish’n’chip shop chain was looking for a brand refresh, while still staying true to aspects of their existing identity.
I developed several concept design themes for LJ’s various applications, including marketing collateral, signage, menu’s, digital and print media. The aim was to achieve a brand that came across as fresh, fun and iconic.
This work for ASB involved the development of brand-recognisable Infographics for social media applications including Facebook and Instagram. The style I developed for these infographics was to reflect the innovative and progressive nature of ASB.
Optinet were a new business that required complete brand development and roll out. Being an IT related business in a competitive market, I developed an associated suite of applications that would stand out against their competitors, with bold and distinctive colouring, while reflecting their values of simplicity and intelligence.
I have been the lead creative, developing monthly campaigns, from concept through to execution, across a range of channels, including instore point of sale, television story boarding and social/digital outputs.
Infographics are a fun, eye-catching and relatable way to get key information across to a target audience. I have created infographics for several key clients, including ASB, Tourism New Zealand and News Works.
A company’s branding is integral to any successful business identity as it reflects their core values, character, business sector and may be the difference between being memorable or not to potential clients. I take pride in developing strong, clean and meaningful brand identities for my clients and this starts with gaining an understanding of what their business is and where they want to go.
Some of my favourite brand identities that I have developed include Fletcher Window + Door Systems, Tairāwhiti Gisborne and The New Zealand Innovators Awards.
The brief for this commission was to develop a document pitched at overseas investors, taking what was seen as a very boring document and turning it into an engaging and informative sales piece.
My work with Tennis Auckland involved a Brand Refresh for application across their suite of documents, marketing collateral, their Annual Report and even their vehicles.
